George

WE aRe yoU Mornin' Crew

M-F 6-10am

George's journey in the radio industry began with a transformative move at KFXZ, transitioning the station from Urban Adult Contemporary to a pioneering all-Gospel format. As the music director and the host of the morning drive show, he was instrumental in this landmark shift.

His knack for innovation and a strong work ethic soon led him to new heights. George became a notable figure at Nashville's first full-time Gospel station, WNSG, taking on the roles of Morning Show Host and Program Director. His journey continued with a significant tenure at WAJV, where he was the driving force behind the all-gospel programming, serving both as Program Director and Afternoon Drive Host. His adaptability shone through when he seamlessly took on additional responsibilities as the Program Director for WAJV's sister station, WMSU.

However, the demanding nature of the industry led George to seek a change. Moving away from the political intricacies of radio, he ventured into the aviation industry, where he has thrived for over a decade and a half, now based in Atlanta.

Today, George Daigle stands at the helm of WERUradio as its owner and CEO. WERUradio, born from the desire to fill a crucial void, represents a novel fusion of R&B, Hip-Hop, and Soulful House Music, while also championing artists from the LGBTQ Community. Under George's guidance, WERUradio has become 'the urban sound of pride', bridging communities through the universal language of music. His vision for the station is not just about entertainment; it's about creating a platform that resonates with allies and members of the LGBTQ+ community alike."
